The Benefit of the Bar

January 22, 2018

It's always the season to use lotion.  In the winter, we use it to keep our skin hydrated and soft.  During the summer months, we use lotion to combat the effects of the sun , to maintain our tan and to help our skin from drying out.

Unfortunately, so many people grab the nearest bottle of _________ and think they're good to go.

And that's just not the case.   Bottled lotions are often up to 80% water, filled with preservatives and artificial ingredients and there's always that pesky percentage at the bottom you just can't get out.

And let's not even talk about the wasteful bottle.

Mama's Gardens has a better way.

A Lotion Bar.  A truly solid lotion.  Using only the finest all-natural and organic oils, butter and beeswax, we melt the concoction and then add Essential Oils specifically designed to luxuriously treat your skin.

Our bars are easy to use, you can simply grab the 2oz bar (think Reese's Peanut Butter Cup sized) and gently rub the lotion on.  Your body will naturally warm and soften the bar making application and absorption that much easier.

You can use the Lotion Bar either in the shower or after, depending on your preference.  Using it while you shower increases the moisturizing factor since your pores are open from the warm water.

Since our bars are all-natural and organic, you can be sure that what you're putting on your body is only the best.  And since what goes on your body, goes in your body, you're good to go!

With a bar, there's no waste, no bottle and no leftover lotion to drop in a landfill.  You're taking care of Mother Earth as you take care of yourself.

We offer bars designed for the entire body plus bars specially formulated to treat your face the way it deserves to be treated.

Compact, easy to use and ready to take with you, our bars come in a variety of fragrances sure to please.   Feel free to let us know if you have any questions!
